Committee Reports

President's Report [MPT]

  • 2020 "was a year"
  • Messy parts were wrapped up
  • Room reallocation happened then COVID happened
    • Prevented lots of good events from being run
  • Appeal was accepted, then another round of allocations
  • Clubroom is UCC's for another 3 years
  • Room is now open
    • Some events have been run again, finally
  • Online meeting server was good
    • Thanks to all who helped with setup and running
  • Charity Unvigil was great
    • $2000 raised for charity
    • Collaborative event with Unigames, PCS and UWAnime
    • Event was forced online but we made it work
  • Am happy to hand off with plenty of events coming
  • "Nothing is on fire"

Vice President's Report [TEC]

  • The past two years have been a rather unfortunate time
    • Lots of massive events to sidetrack things
  • Nothing horrible has happened yet
  • Hopefully this year's committee can do what they plan to
    • Good opportunity to move in a good direction
  • To those considering going for a role on committee please present ideas
    • "Give it a shot"
  • Without being on committee I would not have gotten as much out of the club

Secretary's Report [PQZ]

Treasurer's Report [MLG]

  • Financial statements are not ready yet, will be tabled later
  • Bank accounts as of today:

Fresher Representative's Report [BRD]

  • "I was going to represent freshers, there were none"
  • There are lots of things to be done in UCC
  • Did some things during the year to help out
  • Enjoyed time and the club
    • Looking forward to 2021 committee

  • Super happy with how things have gone all things considered
  • Have dealt with a lot of stuff
  • Everyone has contributed

  • Is harder to get new members in so cross promotion is critical
