  • Catfish has come back to life!

    • Caution on its internal power connectors, if it gives you trouble just open it up and reseat ATX, CPU, and fan power connectors.

  • Corvo hasnt been looked at yet

Misc.

  • Account locking and its associated scripts are an eldritch nightmare of bash and legacy systems.

    • It has yet to be done. Blame [GPO] and [BRD].

  • We forgot to buy VR games

    • only really wanted ~2 games out of the bundle anyways
      • games: budget cuts, thumper
      • Gary suggests boneworks, which is a very good vr night experience and a chance to try out some new gimmicks (like gloves)
      • our budget will cover these (~113 total cost)

  • [GPO] talked to the guy (the guy being head of Guild Events - Leigh) about unincorporation
    • He said to come to him with a list of things we couldn't do if we unincorportated, and that he would have a chat to finance about clubroom PB insurance.
      • might still be covered by guild
      • This is affecting other old and significant clubs (UEC, Blackstone) so they want to help sort it
      • More than SOC pres does apparently considering still no response from him.

Events

3D printing workshop

  • run through tinker CAD
    • basic shapes, printing out a name
    • [GPO] can also show people how the 3D printer works
    • if people want more they can go to makers
