• Attended project night but didn't do much
• Sorted out the shirts we have and wrote down how many we have of what size with [BRD]
  • Endidng up buying 3 shirts that are a bit big as they're all male size
• Also stocked the vending and snack machine with [BRD]
• Booked a meeting room for the Tech Quiz Night meeting today. The last meeting before the quiz on Monday
• The snack machine continues to cause me pain by witholding my purchases from me

Network

  • login on windows PCs takes very long
  • samba server (samson) was having OOM issues
  • fixed, but will happen again
    • needs to be updated, and added to monitoring: see [NTU]'s discussion in #ucc
• firewall still happening
  • [GPO] & [BRD] can take over the investigation
    • Ask [MPT] for a handover and who to contact ourselves
    • And give them the wheel email so we can all see the discusions
    • should get it done by the end of the year
    • perhaps an in-person meeting so we can minute

Desktops

• Piranha takes a long time to log onto
  • Talks of replacing the unmanaged switch feeding piranha and christmas with a managed switch so network setup isn't so shit
    • But there seems to be something up with piranha in general, should look further into it

Misc.

• Has the VR Headset been fixed?
  • broken still
  • all our cables are too short
  • will go out Monday 11am for a costco run and cable run
    • thats a long cable

Tech Clubs Quiz Night

• Last meeting before the quiz is today
• A discord event has been made for it
• Just waiting on a couple prizes from a few clubs so we can store them in our cupboard

• Not sure if the questions are all done
  • [BRD] will be there early before the quiz night meeting to write questions
• The tech run has been completed and everything worked
  • We just need to bring a aux cord
